I went in for my first ultrasound today with Dr. Ramsey. I was strangely nervous, but Dr. Ramsey was so warm and happy to see me, which immediately put me at ease.
The ultrasound showed baby is only 6 weeks and 5 days, putting our due date at August 8, 2020. Heart rate was 132 beats per minute and you could see the little heartbeat flickering on the screen. Not much else was visible at this early stage other than a little neural tube and yoke sack. Dr. Ramsey mentioned that my uterus is tipped (as it always has been) and as a result, she couldn't see the ovaries. Everything looked good and I'll return in 4 weeks for a 10-week visit.
