15 Months

 

August is 15 months old! He loves animals and brings us all the animal books to read. His favorites are That’s Not My Elephant (which neither of the other two read!) and Peek a Who (which has been beloved by all three boys). He is doing wonderfully with his sleep routine (happily sleeps through the night and take a solid 2 hr nap each afternoon) but is by far our most challenging eater. He likes all fruits and most breads and is good with yogurt, but most other foods are a struggle. He’s now doing a morning preschool program every day and it’s going really well. He likes going to school and runs to get his shoes when we ask if he’s ready to go! One big silver lining of my medical leave has been getting to be home with him and Micah in the afternoons, and he seems to be thriving on the routine of school in the morning and home in the afternoons. He’s saying a few words, “mo mo” for more and a pretty clear “uh ho” and “oh no”. He shows us “How big is August” and is now not only waking, but running most places. He LOVES stuffed animals and anything cozy. Grandpa and Grandma Savre are staying at the Robertsons and he goes straight for a large white puff ball every time he visits them.
